Quise Picasso

Quise Picasso

Artist

Quise Picasso was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, by a single mother. Growing up, he faced hardships ranging from homelessness to legal troubles, and the streets had a strong hold on him in his early years. In the late ’90s, he began dabbling in music—laying tracks, battling, and sharpening his lyrical edge. But it wasn’t until a five-year prison sentence that Quise found the discipline and focus to fully commit to his craft.

Upon his release in 2006, Quise wasted no time. He connected with producers, hit the studio relentlessly, and soon dropped his debut project Goon City The E.P., earning positive reception across the Midwest. In 2017, he followed with The Frank Costello EP, which established his name as a voice in Midwest hip-hop. The highly praised Frank Costello 2 arrived in 2020, during the height of the pandemic, showcasing his lyrical sharpness and creative growth.

In 2022, Quise endured a devastating dual tragedy, losing two of his brothers to gun violence just days apart. The losses nearly derailed his career, but instead became fuel for his art. Teaming with indie powerhouse producer Uno OnTha Beatz, he released Definition Of A Gangsta, a street-certified project that resonated deeply with fans and critics alike.

In May 2025, just one day after his birthday, Quise returned with the third installment of his signature series—Frank Costello 3: Mob Money Frankie Story. The project was met with strong reviews, proving once again that his storytelling and authenticity cut through the noise of today’s rap landscape. On September 6, 2025, Quise is set to release The Last of Us, a collaborative project with EBMG labelmate Omari Kamau, further cementing his versatility and chemistry within the duo format.

Now as the head of Executive Board Music Group, alongside partner label Tri Entertainment LLC, Quise Picasso is balancing artistry with leadership. With sharpened focus and hunger, he’s not only building his own catalog but also shaping the next generation of talent. A survivor of struggle and a voice of the streets, Quise Picasso continues to redefine what it means to come from the trenches—turning pain into purpose, and legacy into timeless  music.

AKA Assata

AKA Assata

Artist

Assata Marney, better known as AKA Assata, is a rising artist from Milwaukee with a voice and vision far beyond her years. Born on December 7, 2010, Assata grew up surrounded by music and began finding her rhythm as early as age two. Inspired by icons like Nicki Minaj, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and her father, hip-hop artist Quise Picasso, she discovered early on that music wasn’t just entertainment—it was her calling.

Blending a New York–influenced sound with her own raw storytelling, AKA Assata stands out by sharing the real experiences of a 14-year-old navigating life, pain, and joy. She experiments with different genres but always grounds her music in authenticity, writing her own lyrics and channeling her emotions into every verse. Her debut song, “Forget About It,” marked the start of her journey, and her first performance among family and friends gave her the confidence to pursue her craft seriously.

Beyond music, Assata is a multitalented teen who loves fashion design and expresses her creativity in many forms. She wants her artistry to show that “it’s cool to be yourself,” encouraging her generation to embrace individuality. With her debut EP, “It Girl: Far From Innocent,” on the way, fans can expect powerful songs, visuals, and live performances that highlight her growth and versatility.

For Assata, music is more than just a career—it’s a purpose. She hopes listeners feel her pain, joy, and messages in every track while she continues building toward her ultimate goal: becoming a role model, supporting her family, and making her mark at the top of the game.

Omari Kamau

Omari Kamau

Artist

Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Omari Kamau carries the soul of his city into every lyric and beat. Music first sparked in him at the age of 10, fueled by the words of his cousin Q, who pushed him to write about himself and the beliefs that shaped his world. Growing up, Omari was also deeply influenced by his mother’s singing and heartfelt poetry, which taught him the power of honesty and storytelling in art.

Omari describes his sound in three words: raw and real. Inspired by legends like Tupac, Scarface, 8Ball & MJG, and Mac from No Limit, he creates music that speaks directly to the streets, to the “have-nots,” and to those fighting their way through struggle. His style stands out because it’s not limited by genre—his gift is the ability to tap into emotions, whether pain or joy, and translate them into music that resonates deeply.

His journey began with his first studio-recorded track, Never Just for Me, and since then, he has released multiple EPs and LPs that continue to tell his evolving story. A highlight of his career so far was stepping onto a big stage and connecting with artists like Kuzzo Fly and Yukmouth, who wanted to remix one of his songs—an affirmation of his growing impact.

Omari is an artist signed under Executive Board Music Group and is currently working alongside label mate and hip-hop artist, Quise Picasso on a joint project under the name ELLSWORTH.

For Omari, music isn’t just art—it’s a lifeline. He hopes his listeners feel his pain, his joy, and most importantly, that they know they are not alone in their struggles. His ultimate goal is to create music that changes lives and perspectives, leaving behind a legacy of authenticity and empowerment.

When he’s not in the studio—where he now prefers to “punch in” rather than write full verses—Omari is a dedicated family man, raising five sons and two daughters alongside his wife of ten years. A lover of reading, Harry Potter, and old mobster films, he’s as much a student of life as he is of music.

With ELLSWORTH on the horizon and more music to come, Omari is set on delivering work that cements his place in hip-hop. In five years, he sees himself solidified among the greatest in hip-hop culture, a voice for the streets and beyond. His message is simple yet powerful: be yourself—it’s cool to be who you are and to chase what you truly aspire to be.

Jake White

Jake White

Artist

Born in Clearwater, Florida, raised in Orlando, and sharpened in Milwaukee, Jake White, formerly known as Cotton Mouf, carries the grit of the streets and the soul of hip hop in every bar he spits. His journey into music began young—memorizing hymns and scripture in church, rapping for classmates at bus stops, and even performing other artists’ songs at parties before ever writing his own. What started as playful diss tracks in middle school evolved into a relentless passion for storytelling and truth through music.

Jake White’s foundation in hip hop was laid the moment he heard Tupac’s “Changes” at just seven years old. From there, legends like Wu-Tang Clan, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Scarface, Immortal Technique, and Z-Ro shaped his lyrical depth, while artists such as Saigon, Cassidy, and Starlito inspired his sharp delivery and commitment to reality rap. His music refuses to chase trends—every verse comes from lived experience, raw emotion, and an unshakable drive to keep it real.

Milwaukee became the birthplace of his official career. His first open mic at Brooklyn’s on Fon Du Lac ended with the crowd going crazy, a cash prize in hand, and local veterans telling him he had “something special.” That moment sealed his path as an artist. Since then, he’s rocked stages, built a loyal following, and continued to push the boundaries of his craft with projects like his EP Unbreakable and his upcoming series The Giancana Tapes, beginning with Pt. 1: The Oath.

What sets Jake White apart is his approach: every lyric is written by him, crafted in the studio with no pen or pad, committed to memory through pure repetition until he can deliver it in one take. His process, much like his music, is about authenticity, discipline, and staying true to the moment.

Beyond the music, Jake White is a chef, a father, and a man who wears his lessons openly. He wants his story to resonate with the younger generation—that the streets don’t love you, and chasing empty dreams will only cost you your freedom or your life. His artistry is as much about survival and growth as it is about beats and rhymes.

Looking forward, Jake White is locked in on consistency. With The Giancana Tapes Pt. 1: The Oath on the way, a collaboration project with Quise Picasso (For the Family), and another joint album with Omari Kamau in the works, he’s showing no signs of slowing down. His ultimate goal isn’t fame or fortune—it’s longevity, providing for his family, and taking his music to stages worldwide.

For Jake White, every track is proof that no matter what life throws at you, you can keep fighting, keep building, and keep rising. His story is written in struggle, resilience, and truth—and his music makes sure it won’t be forgotten.

Black L'LAK

Black L'LAK

Artist

Black L’lak (Living Like A King) is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin–born artist whose music is rooted in lived experience, imagination, and emotional truth. His sound is unpredictable and unapologetic—blending chaos, vulnerability, and creativity into something both raw and captivating.

His journey into music began in elementary school, inspired by the cyphers he witnessed in his neighborhood—where respect was earned, and presence was felt before a single word was spoken. Those moments sparked a desire not just to participate, but to stand out. From that foundation, Black L’lak developed his own unique genre: the “Blisco Sound”—a fusion of the soul and hardship of blues with the vibrant energy of disco. His music also reflects a commitment to cultural inclusivity, aiming to connect with diverse audiences through shared emotion and experience.

A major influence in his life was his father, a baritone singer who introduced him to a wide range of music, from classic crooners like Nat King Cole to contemporary R&B groups like Blackstreet. As he grew older, local Milwaukee artists such as Baby Drew, Young Twan, Tweezy the Mayor, Magic Fangaz, Wayne “Snag,” and Westlawn Silk further shaped his artistic perspective and ambition.

At just 13 years old, Black L’lak recorded his first song after being discovered through his grandmother’s belief in his talent. That early opportunity solidified his commitment to music. One of his most defining moments came when he walked into a birthday party and heard a room full of people—adults and children alike—reciting his lyrics word for word. The energy and recognition in that moment affirmed his purpose as an artist.

Through his music, Black L’lak aims to create an emotional response—encouraging listeners to relate, learn, and celebrate their own experiences. His message is clear: no one is alone, and self-expression should never be silenced.

Driven by a goal to be recognized among the greats, he draws inspiration from everyday life, believing that every moment holds the potential for storytelling when shaped with intention. He writes his own lyrics and embraces collaboration, using the recording booth as a mirror to fully embody each line he delivers.

Fans can expect new music, dynamic performances, and engaging experiences in the coming year, as he continues to expand his presence and artistry.

Beyond music, Black L’lak is also an author, creating short stories, skits, and developing an internet series. With aspirations to transition into film, he envisions himself directing and acting on a larger scale within the next five years—bringing his creative vision to life across multiple platforms.
